Who doesn't love a good ice cream?
Ice cream is one of the best food creations of all time. There is just something about it. Maybe it's the sweet taste and the cold, creamy melt-in-your mouth goodness, or maybe it is that feeling of summer. The hot days at the pool, or those late nights with the familiy, playing cornhole and unwinding under the stars are some of the most treasured memories I have from my past. I could eat ice cream 365 days of the year, but it definitely makes me think of summer. That could be one of the many reasons why I love ice cream. What could go better with this delicious flozen treat than cookie dough? Cookie dough, some people think, is not meant to be eaten unless it it cooked and made into a cookie. That is not the case at all. As far as I'm concerned, cookie dough tastes better than eating cookies. With cookie dough stores and food trucks gaining in popularity around the United States, people must agree. I have decided that my project over the summer is to test all the cookie dough ice creams around Springfield, Missouri, and other brands in stores to find out who has the best ice cream. If I travel anywhere during the summer, I will test those as well. This is just for fun, and because I am curious. I will be scoring each ice cream in five categories: amount of cookie dough, creaminess, overall taste, price, and miscellaneous. Miscellaneous will mostly be about the chocolate chips; I am extremely picky about them, but it can include other things as well. Each category will be out of 10 points for a total of 50. I cannot wait to see which cookie dough ice cream is the best!
